Please review the Grand Hall policies and procedures as you plan your event. They explain what’s included with your rental and outline requirements for setup, catering, parking, safety and cleanup. Your CO-LAB event coordinator can help you address any requirements specific to your event.
CO-LAB reserves the right to refuse bookings, cancel events or terminate an event in progress if the client violates University policy, local law, or these venue policies, or if the event poses a safety or reputational risk to the University.

First, a request form must be submitted. If you are looking to book a smaller event (1-25 people), please submit a shared spaces request form. If you are looking for a larger-scale event (50-200 people), please submit a Grand Hall request form. Once received, a member of the CO-LAB staff team will contact you throughout the process.
Yes, we require all events booked in the Grand Hall to have a consultation. Once you submit your request through the Grand Hall request form, you will be prompted to schedule an in-person consultation. These consultations are typically held on Mondays and Fridays and are in person, unless otherwise specified.
We do not require a consultation for any events booked in the shared spaces.
At this time, we do not offer designated event parking. However, there are several pay-to-park options located around our building, with prices varying by lot.

We highly encourage guests to consider using the light rail, which offers a convenient and reliable way to reach our venue.
CO-LAB at UNC Charlotte Center City does not own or manage the surrounding parking lots. All parking operation are managed by Pivot Parking.
